Sometimes, the folder options in Windows Explorer may go missing due to the effects of a virus or Trojan. Here's a simple solution:
1. Open the "Run" dialog and type "gpedit.msc."
2. Navigate to User Configuration > Administrative Templates > Windows Components > Windows Explorer.
3. Click on Windows Explorer, and you will find the option "Removes the Folder Option menu item from the Tools menu" on the right side of the screen.
4. If this option is checked, double-click on it and set it to Enable. Apply the changes, then set it back to Not Configured.
5. Restart your computer, and the folder options should reappear in Windows Explorer.
This should resolve the issue.
